CHESTERFIELD CANAL -
Mark Radford of Nottinghamshire - "Then one day I came across "Walks along the Chesterfield canal" in a bookshop in Bakewell. So bought it with trying canal walking for a change from the hills. After completing all twenty routes, all I can say is that I am hooked. All walks were completed from 10th. October to 15th. November 2007.
There were many highlights along the way but for me was a bright sunny Sunday walking the Shireoaks and Thorpe Salvin section and only meeting one other person. So thank you John for doing these books - Cromford Canal and the Grantham Canal are the next planned walks."
