The Pen-Ultimate John Merrill Walk Award.
Only available to those who have walked twenty or more John Merrill Challenge walks - 500 miles. You can walk any of them more than once to make the magic twenty.Rod Heywood of Huddesfield, comleted twenty walks, having started in 1997 with the Cleveland Way. He went to walk the White Peak Challenge, Little John, Rutland Water etc., finishing with Canal walks and Compo's Way in 2007/8.
Well done to him. Awarded in December 2008.
