In between his walks, John is a keen cyclist - both road and mountain biking. He is currently working on a cycling guide to North London and Hertfordshire and hope to publish the book in 2008. The photograph is of John, taken on September 23rd. in Whitehall, London, on the day more than 38,000 cyclists cycled around the traffic roads of central London - Hovis Freewheeling Day.
