This book is the result of reasearch underttaken over many years and attempts to describe, in verse and prose, some of the incredible stories that I have come across - tucked away in the most unlikely places. I am pleased to say the stories are genuine "folk tales", because the tales are about ordinary folk who lived extraordinary lives in and around Nottingham and the surrounding county.
