A London to Brighton Walk - 52 miles from Horley Station to Brighton Pier via Three Bridges Station, Balcombe Station, Haywards Heath Station, Wivelsfield Station, Hassocks Station and Falmer Station

"Over the years, during my journeys to and from Brighton by train, I looked out of the window and promised myself I would walk through the beautiful countryside on both sides of the line.

Now the promise has become fact and I have devised seven connecting walks to take you from Horley Station to the Palace Pier in Brighton. Easch walk starts at a station and ends one or two stations down the line. This means you can either travel both ways by train or park your car and return by rail.

The walks vary between six and eight miles with the last section at 10 1/2 miles. However, in this last section, you will be pleased to know that six of the miles are down hill.

At sometime, you may wish to join two walks together. Tp facilitate this, you will find link paths near the end and beginning of each walk with connecting instructions." Norman Willis

Designed, typsett, mapped and printed by John Merrill.

A special cloth embroidered badge and signed certificate is available for those who complete the whole walk.

A5 in a plastic cover. 40 pages. 8 maps. 8 photographs.
