Thye pilgrimage walk from London to Walsingham is one of the great walks in England, in the footsteps of the medieval pilgrims. This route keeps to paths and tracks as much as possible and is between 174 and 194 miles long, depending on which route or variation you take, via Bury St. Edmunds. All have their attractions and it is purley a personal choice. On the way you will pass more than 100 places of worship and see the whole spectrum of eccesiastical architecture. Walsingham is England's Nazereth and the walk there is not only a spiritual journey of the soul but one of the heart, as one sees, learns, and explores the counrtyside you pass throught.
