Medieval pilgrims route adapted to todays enviroment. SStarting from Westminster Abbey, the route takes you through North Werst London visitng many of the finest churches in London; you actually pass more than 30 places of worship. These include a Jesuit church; a Black Friars; Roman Catholic; Church of England; walk through a Jewish neighbourhood, and see Middlesex's finest ruined brick church at Stanmore.
The walk takes you past Buckingham Palace, and through Regents Park, and on Hampstead, Burnt Oak, Edgwarem Stanmore, Aldenham and the River Ver to the Cathedral and Abbey church of St. Alban. Three days are recommended for the pilgrimage.
