Eight circular walks - 4 to 8 miles long - in the "Peak Practice Country" of Derbyshire. Some of the walks can be joined together to make longer ones. The walks take you to "Cardale" (Crich), South Wingfield, Lea (Florence Nightingale), Dethick (Babington Plot family), Holloway, Riber, Cromford (Sir Richard Arkwright mills) and its canal. The scenery is breathtaking and full of history giving an enjoyable walk, while getting some healthy exercise.
Each walk starts from a car park, has a detailed map and walking instuctions, historical notes and at least one inn or cafe en route..
