Bakewell is an ideal base to explore the "White Peak" area of the Peak District National Park, with Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall close by.
Eight shirt circular walks - 2 to 9 miles long and Two long circular walks - 15 and 18 miles long, explore fully the limestone country around Bakewell. The walks include a Town Walk (Bakewell Puddings), the Monsal Trail, Haddon Hall, Monsal dale, Ashford in the Water, Stanton Moor and Hassop.
