Wem, in North Shropshire, the birthplace of the Sweet Pea, is the start and finishing point for this challeging and rewarding walk. The route takes you through rolling countryside, beside an abandoned canal and the most popular one - the Llangollen Canal - and over rocky hills with stunning views and through red sandstone gorges. It is a challenge to complete in a day - 12 hours. For those who complete the route, a special pink and blue Sweet Pea embroidered badge and signed certificate are available.
