Here is his favourite circular long distance walk around Sherwood Forest. Starting and ending at Edwinstowe; the heart of Robin Hood Country and Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire. The walk encompasses the scenic character of the forest, with unspoilt villages, meandering rivers, gorges and historic houses and is a challenge to walk in a day. Places past include - Church Warsop, Cuckney, Holbeck, Creswell Crags, Hardwick Village, Bothamsall, Robin Hood's Cave and Ollerton.
