A magnificant 28 mile circular walk from the centre of Derby; following the line of the Derby Canal, south to the Trent & Mersey Canal and onto the River Trent, the mouth of the River Derwent, and Trentlock. Here you join the Erewash Canal and head north to Sandiacre junction with the Derby Canal. You return to Derby following the line of the old canal, ending a rewarding walk. The succesful can get a special cloth embroidered badge and signed certificate.
