The "Three Counties" challenge walk is a tought 28 mile walk on the western side of the Peak District, stradling the counties of Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire. The route involves considerable ascent over several "hills", - 4,800 ft - and requires stamina and endurance to complete in a day. Starting from Meerbrook you ascend The Roaches, Shutlingsloe, Tegg's Nose, Shining Tor, Flash and Hen Cloud.
