The Belvoir Wiches Challenge Walk, is a magnificent walk around the Vale of Belvoir ILeicestershire/Nottinghamshire/Lincolnshire), where is the 17th. century three witches resided. The walk is a challenge to do in a day - 25 miles - but can be done over a weekend, with Woolsthorpe by Belvoir as the stopping point. The walk passes through exceptional quiet countryside - The Grantham Canal, picturesque villages, woodland and Belvoir Castle, where the witches cast their spell on the descendants of the Duke of Rutland. There are several inns along the way. The walk starts and ends at Bottesford, where there is a "witches" tomb in the church. The successful can obtain a special Witches badge and signed certificate.
