The River Lee Navigation and surrounding Lee Regional Country Park, is a superb walking area north of London. The section between Ponders End and Hertford provide many varied short circular walks - 4 to 6 miles. These short ten walks explore this area fully and all interlock. Combined they bring you to historical buildings, fine towns and villages and an area rich in wildlife. Step out and enjoy this waterfilled valley where narrowboats meander.
Walks, from a car park, are based on Ponders End, Enfield Lock, Waltham Abbey, Boxbourne, Stanstead Abbots, Ware and Hertford.
